Tindariel is the younger child of the late Lord of the Golden Flower, and the sister of the present one, Glorfindel. She was born in Nevrast a few years after the Noldor became established there, and spent her childhood making sandcastles and playing in rockpools with Elemmakil.
Her family came to Gondolin when it was newly completed. At first she missed the quiet of the sea, but soon fell in love with the excitement of a busy city, and the many wonders to be found there. One of Tindariel's closest friends is Idril, King Turgon's daughter. As second in the Golden Flower, Tindariel occasionally sat on King's Councils and found the political life of the City very interesting.
Tall and golden-haired, Tindariel is almost always smiling. She enjoys flirting with handsome elf-men, playing music, singing and dancing, although she has a wide practical streak and is a capable organiser. She married the King's brother, Prince Argon, and in the King's absence they established themselves in the Palace. In the first ever election, Tindariel was elected as Regent of Gondolin with 50% of the vote.Mwa! Bwahahaha! POWER IS MIEN!!!11
She is also rumoured to have six toes on her right foot. As far as any of us are aware, it's just a rumour. But who knows how these things start?
